Delicious Very Berry Smoothie Recipe

Spring has sprung ya’ll!  Here in Texas we have hot and hotter.  We are always looking for amazing drinks to cool us down and I’m preparing!  I have been on the hunt for a Delicious Very Berry Smoothie Recipe that was on the low sugar spectrum. Smoothie recipes in general have high sugar so I tend not to drink many of them. I do many high protein shakes but not smoothies, until now.

I am hypoglycemic so I have to watch my sugar intake. I tend to be a big fan of SPLENDA® only because it doesn’t make my sugar levels drop and it also doesn’t give me headaches like the other pink or blue sugar substitute packets do.

I have found a great deal of amazing recipes on the SweetsSwaps.com.  You have got to check them out!  There are so many ways to cut down on sugar and not compromise the taste of your recipe.  I was very surprised to see some amazing dinner recipes too.  Half of these recipes I wouldn’t have even thought to make with SPLENDA®.  I’ve already bookmarked the site myself.

I subscribe to the SPLENDA® newsletter so I get some pretty tasty recipes right to my inbox too. Today, I attempted to make the Sweet Berry Smoothie recipe which knocked my socks off in taste! Wow it was good!

Update:  I am getting so many questions asking where I got the lids to the mason jars.  I have not found them in my local stores yet.  I had to order them here on Amazon.

I’ve also had many questions on the type of blender I use.  I have the Oster® 8-Speed Blender + Food Processor – It’s a vibrant red color that also has a food processor attachment.  It’s a great way to use one machine for multiple uses.  I love, love, love that it has a glass container instead of plastic.  I keep it out on my counter just because of how pretty it is.
