Easy Bunny Butt Cookie Recipe

You have got to try this super easy bunny butt cookie recipe!  This is an excellent way to get kids involved in the kitchen with a fun cookie project they will actually enjoy making.  These cookies are just so stinkin’ adorable!

There are a couple of things I want to talk about before you attempt this recipe.  You can do a really simple recipe by just purchasing some sugar cookie dough in the refrigerated section of your local grocery store and a tub of vanilla frosting or you can put a bit more effort into this and make a from scratch cookie recipe.  We have two really good sugar cookie recipes!  This recipe below and we also have this Easy Sugar Cookies Recipe (Rolled Cookies that hold their Shape).  We made some super cute Easter cookies with that recipe also.  You should check it out!

I think one of the main secrets to a perfect cookie is not only the recipe but the pan you bake it on.  I always, and I mean always, use a silicone baking mat when baking these because the cookie is cooked perfectly every single time.  I’m not even sure if you can bake a cookie too long when using a silicone baking mat.  I’m sure you can but I never have.

Another tip that I like to remember is to have the disposable decorating bags on hand.  I can’t stand cleaning out those reuseable bags.  It’s such a pain.

There’s a printable version of this recipe at the very bottom of this post for your convenience.
