Quick Pizza Dough Recipe

I’ve got a quick pizza dough recipe for you!  It’s so easy that all you have to do is let it thaw out and press it down to make it!  How about that for quick!!!

I’ve tried many different quick and easy pizza recipes and I think I am a bit picky about the pizza dough taste.  I’ve tried making pizza dough with Pillsbury biscuits and those are horrible!  Sorry, but they are.  Pillsbury does make a pizza crust and I don’t care for that one either.  It’s better but not great.

They do make pizza dough that is already made and all you have to do it add the toppings but those can get pricey and again, they don’t taste all that great.

I finally found a solution for a quick pizza dough recipe!  Have you ever tried Rhodes Dinner Rolls?  OMG!  They are so delicious!  They are light and fluffy and full of flavor!  You can find them at your local supermarket in the frozen section.  They come in white dinner rolls and wheat dinner rolls.  I’ve tried them both and the kids enjoy the white dinner rolls but I like them both.

We make these mini pizzas often and the kids actually prefer to make them for us!  Lucky me!

Here’s how to make some quick mini pizzas for dinner:

First, thaw the dinner rolls according to the instructions on the package.

Once thawed, press each roll down into a circle pizza dough pattern.

Add pizza sauce of your choice.

Add toppings of your choice.  We prefer pepperoni and hamburger options but you can get creative with each individual mini pizza and everyone can make a personalized one of their own.

Bake them for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Serve warm and enjoy!

Pro Tip:  Notice in the photo I am using those neat nonstick silicone baking sheet mats.  I use them for almost everything I bake!!  Perfect crust for pizza, rolls, cookies and more every time!

I am quite disappointed that I have yet to grab a photo of the baked and ready to eat pizzas after they have come out of the oven.  They are gone so fast (and I am guilty of this too)!  I will update a photo next time I make them!
