Spread a Little Sunshine this Winter

This winter just doesn’t seem to want to end.  I live in Texas and we normally have warmer weather by now!  Today was the first day I didn’t have to put on a heavy jacket to go outside!  The sun is in full force and I love it!  I’m about to “Spread a Little Sunshine this Winter” with the help of Smucker’s® Natural Fruit Spreads!!

Spread a little sunshine this winter

I absolutely love Smucker’s®!  They always have the best tasting spreads on the market!  We always make a fun and easy Raspberry or Strawberry Cheesecake treat but we don’t bake it.  We just make it.  I’ve even taught the kids how to make their very own when their sweet tooth comes out.

This is a quick and easy dessert or snack idea that you and the kids will love!  I love it because of the natural ingredients!  No preservatives and it’s naturally delicious!  We all love it because of the taste!

Smucker’s® Natural Fruit Spreads come in four different flavors:

  • Strawberry
  • Red Raspberry
  • Orange Marmalade
  • Concord Grape

You can also get pretty creative with the other Smucker’s® Natural Fruit Spreads too.  For example, we tried (and loved) pairing the Smucker’s® Natural Orange Marmalade Fruit spread mixed with cranberries, red pepper flakes, diced onion on a cracker!  We even topped it with toasted pecans too!  Oh my goodness it was good!  It was a little sweet and a little spicy!  Perfect combo!

  3. I think that the mango jam would be a perfect addition to a spicy salsa. It would be the right amount of heat with a little sweetness. The citrus flavor of orange marmalade would pair nicely with chicken or pork when they are made as a barbecue, like pulled pork. As for the dessert, a strawberry cream pie made with strawberry preserves, cream cheese, vanilla pudding and whipped cream. Mix it all together and pour it into a graham cracker crust. Once it is set, top it with some fresh strawberries and a little more of the preserves.
