Pastry Mat for Baking

Sili Bake Pastry Mat

Does anyone still use a pastry mat for baking?  Am I the only one left to use one?  If so,  I want to bring back and old trend and get people to start using them again.   I remember having the old Tupperware pastry mat.  Do you remember those?  They would never lay flat.  Never!  And it was only used for rolling out my pastry dough.

Pastry Mat for Baking with Measurements for Pizza, Pies, Cookies and Sheets of Dough.

  • Pastry Mat with Conversion Measurements. Easy Convert from US to Imperial and Vice Versa. Now you can use recipes from all over the world and not worry about unit conversions
  • Made of High Grade FDA Certified Silicon
  • Non Stick Surface Make it Easy to Work with Any Dough
  • Sticks to Your Countertop for Easy Dough Handeling

But it can also be used as a baking mat too!  When you use a silicone baking mat you are almost guaranteed a crust that won’t burn!  I’m hooked on my baking mat and won’t make anything without it.

Now this may be a bit lazy for me to admit, but I love the sugar recipe and pie crust recipe built right on to my mat too.

  8. I think my most favorite recipes are…for cookies it would have to be Snickerdoodles and for a pie it would have to be the “brown bag” apple pie (I saw this recipe on a blog this winter and had to make one just out of curiosity and so glad I did…it was sooooo delicious!!!!) and if it was a cake it would have to be chocolate nothing fancy. I would love to win one of these Sili mats….I still have my Tupperware mat, it still doesn’t lay flat, lol, but I still use it.
