In a large cast iron skillet, start by sauteing the onions until translucent.
Add the ground beef and cook it until it's browned.
Drain the fat from the ground beef.
Add the seasonings (chili powder, oregano, onion powder, salt, and pepper) and horseradish sauce to the cooked ground beef and stir until it's well combined.
Spread all the ground beef to the sides of the pan to make a hole in the center of the pan.
Pour the cup of beef broth in that hole in the pan and sprinkle the Xanthan gum over the liquid. Whisk the liquid until it's fully dissolved the Xanthan gum.
Stir the liquid and the ground beef together. It will seem a bit watery but the sauce will thicken as it bakes in the oven.
Add the green beans and mix.
Spread the cauliflower mash over the top of the ground beef casserole in the skillet.
Sprinkle the cauliflower mash with smoked paprika.
Sprinkle the top of the cauliflower with the shredded cheddar cheese.
Bake this ground beef casserole at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
Allow this casserole to cool for about 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
Enjoy!
