Easter Egg Bird Nest Cookie Cups Recipe
This Easter Egg Bird Nest Cookie Cups Recipe is a cute idea for an Easter party! I’ve included the homemade recipe but you can use the same technique with store bought cookie dough too if you want to make them quickly.

Easter Egg Bird Nest Cookie Cups Recipe Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup + 2 Tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoons vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sweetened coconut flakes
- Green food coloring
- Malted milk eggs
Easter Egg Bird Nest Cookie Cups Recipe Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and grease a cupcake pan with butter or a non stick cooking spray.
2. In a large mixing bowl, mix your butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Mix in vanilla extract and egg.
4. Then mix in your flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
5. Form your dough into small 1″ balls and press into each cupcake mold.
6. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
7. Carefully press the centers down with a spoon and let cool.
8. Mix 1 cup of coconut with a drop of green food coloring.
9. Fill each cookie cup with icing and top off with a sprinkle of green coconut a 2-3 malted milk eggs.

Icing Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 6 tablespoons softened butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoons milk
Icing Instructions
1. Cream your butter until light and fluffy with a hand or stand mixer.
2. Slowly mix in your powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk a little at a time.
3. Scoop into a sandwich bag and cut a corner off the bag.
