Tips To Treat Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Without Medicine

Chronic fatigue syndrome is a powerfully debilitating that is highly misunderstood. Like anxiety disorder, chronic fatigue syndrome presents in many different ways and can be very hard to diagnose. Still, people suffer from it on a regular basis and often feel overwhelmed and alone. Unfortunately, dangerous prescription medication seems to be the go-to method of dealing with this affliction. While these medications can sometimes be necessary, many people are able to turn to natural solutions instead. These are non-addictive, safe alternatives to the medicines that are often prescribed for chronic fatigue disorder. Here are five of the very best options:

Biofeedback

This is an incredibly effective method that is often covered by insurance as well. You plug up to a machine that can literally tell you where your pain or anxiety is at a given moment (via colors). This allows you to work on relaxing specific areas, identify the worst areas and become more effective at relaxing your body naturally. Biofeedback is wonderful because it literally helps to teach your body to respond differently.

Yoga

Yoga is simply incredible when it comes to relaxing your body and teaching it to do different things. With chronic fatigue syndrome, you might have to tailor the yoga to fit your specific needs but there are yoga workouts for any situation. Join a class that is known for tailoring the workout to your specifics and you will be shocked at the effects it has on your body.

Essential Oils

Although you need to be careful about properly using them (a wonderful guide can be found here), essential oils are a fantastic way to clear the mind and relax the body. They also can boost your spirit, mood and concentration. There are many that do the trick, but my favorites are Rosemary, Peppermint and Eucalyptus.

Increase Your Fruit and Vegetable Intake

Fruits and veggies are the key to vitamins and minerals and that makes a big difference in how you feel. No matter how much you try, supplements are simply not going to match the powerful combinations you get in fruits and vegetables. Increase your vegetable and fruit intake and you will benefit.

Exercise

Chronic fatigue syndrome can certainly make this a bit challenging at times, but you have to push through. Start really small and work your way up slowly. Many folks don’t understand that the movement comes before the motivation at times. While not something you should do without permission from your doctor, exercise is the key to you feeling better in most cases. Even small amounts of movement can be huge because it will release important chemicals to help in your battle.
