Crispy Keto Parmesan Crusted Pork Chops in the Air Fryer

I just made the best Crispy Keto Parmesan Crusted Pork Chops in the Air Fryer !!  I’ve made pork chops many times in the oven but the keto coating usually soaks up the greasy juices and it’s not really as crispy as I would like.  This is a total game changer!  Thank you to my brand new Air Fryer!  I have a large Air Fryer XL that I use.  It works perfectly for my family of four.

This may be the easiest dinner idea you ever try.  Not even kidding.  I used a bag of spicy pork rinds and parmesan cheese for my breading but you can spice up the regular pork rinds to your liking also.

Crispy Keto Parmesan Crusted Pork Chops in the Air Fryer Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 thick center cut boneless pork chops (these are my favorite but you can use the bone-in pork chops also)
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup pork rind crumbs
  • 3 tbs grated parmesan cheese

Crispy Keto Parmesan Crusted Pork Chops in the Air Fryer Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400F for about 10 minutes.
  2. Season both sides of each pork chop with salt and pepper.
  3. Use a food processor to blend the pork rinds into crumbs.
  4. Combine the pork rind crumbs, parmesan cheese, and seasonings in a large bowl.
  5. Place the beaten egg in a separate bowl.
  6. Dip each pork chop into the egg mixture first, then the crumb mixture immediately after.
  7. Place each pork chop in the basket.
  8. Cook them at 400 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.  15 minutes for the really thick pork chops.  I am usually able to fit about 4 or 5 pork chops in the basket of the air fryer at a time.

Serve with a side salad and enjoy!

I’ve made this recipe a few different times and the next time I made it I used the bone in pork chops.  I was only able to fit about 3 in the air fryer because they are wider and not as thick.  I definitely prefer the center cut thick pork chops.  Both of pork chops can out crispy in the air fryer and tasty too!

Here are a few photos we took of both the thick cut center cut pork chops and the bone in pork chops.

Made this for supper to night in my new air fryer. It was great! I did have to cook it a bit longer to suit my husband’s taste. Will definitely be making this again.

Hi I have the PowerAirFryer with the racks no basket… With the Oven I don’t have to preheat… But, do you by any chance know if the temperature and amount of time to cook would change??? Thank You…

  6. If you don’t have an air-fryer, would the cooking time be the same in the oven or skillet?

  7. When does the Parmesan go in? Since it wasn’t included in the instructions I added it with the pork rind crumbs.

    1. Yes in the instructions it states to “Combine the pork rind crumbs, parmesan cheese, and seasonings in a large bowl.” Which will become your breading.
