Alternate the hot and cold

Many people are unaware that alternating between hot and cold showers during one session can make your body respond in positive ways. If you have ever taken a cold shower, you know that you generally feel really good after the fact. The reason is because the circulatory system responds to such extremes and works to warm or cool the body. Spend a few seconds with the water a bit cooler each time you shower to rev that metabolism without lifting a finger.

Commit to eating low calorie foods

Low calorie foods are the ultimate! Getting to eat something tasty that actually requires more calories to digest than it contains is a dream come true for weight loss, right? Some say that is the case for veggies like Celery, snap peas, tomatoes and others. The truth is, zero calorie foods are probably a myth but you can come really close by eating these foods. Put them in your diet right away and you will be shocked at how they can help with cravings.

Get on a regular schedule

If you are not waking up rested, your metabolism is going to notice. Get to bed at a certain time each night and get up at the same time every morning. When you regulate your body in this manner, your body is much more energetic and alive. Put sleep quite high on the list of priorities for your healthy living.

Hammer the H2O

Few things can boost your metabolism like water. It is something that we are absolutely dependent on to survive, but we still never get enough of it. If you are not drinking your recommended daily amounts, you are not getting the full abilities out of your body. Why not use all that God gave us? Drink water and drink it daily. You will feel incredible and look that way too.

Take a nice walk

There are few things that can instantly send your metabolism in motion but walking is one of them. Any type of exercise is good, but walking is fairly universal. If you want to really kick it into gear, take up jogging or your favorite sport.
