How to Lose Face Fat

Chubby cheeks are cute but only up till the age of about 5 years old. If you are like some of us, learn how to lose face fat! I can only think of one good reason to have face fat and that’s to help with wrinkles.  Dealing with face fat if difficult when taking photos too.  No one wants a bad photo.

Reducing face fat will require and overall weight loss effort but I have a few tricks to help you eliminate face fat or at the very least, reduce it. Lose face fat, with these effective tips below.

Lose Face Fat

The most important tip I can give you is to drink more water.  This will help get rid of excess body fluids which causes bloating.  Most people don’t drink the required amount of water they need.  You need water to lose fat.

Diet

Drink plenty of water to lose face fat

Be sure to eat plenty of fruits and vegetables.  They are high in water content and make you fill full causing you not to gain weight.  Some of the best foods include celery, lettuce, carrots, onion, asparagus, tomato, and cucumber.

Salt Intake

Watch your salt intake.  You don’t want to retain fluids, which is exactly what salt does and it makes your face fat.

Vitamins

Take your daily vitamin.  Make sure they aid in reducing fluid retention.  You want to make sure your daily vitamin includes  Vitamin B5, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B1, and Vitamin D.

  • Vitamin B5, Vitamin B1 and Vitamin D:  These Vitamins help reduce water retention.  You will find these Vitamins in fresh fruits and low-fat dairy products too.
  • Vitamin B6: reduces the effects of fluid retention (especially for women due to premenstrual syndrome).  You can also find large amounts of Vitamin B6 in foods such as red meat, tuna, salmon, bananas and brown rice.

Supplements

Supplement minerals such as calcium is also known to help with water retention too.  Calcium can be found in yogurt, milk and dark leafy green vegetables.

Exercise

The next step is exercise.  Building muscle by weight lifting will help firm your skin.

  • Double Chin Exercise:  Curl your bottom lip over your bottom teeth.  Next, open your mouth wide and move your jaw up and down.  Try to do this for just a few minutes every day.
  • Cheeks Exercise:  Smile.  Smile with your teeth and then again without your teeth.  This will work your face muscles.

Sleep

And last but certainly not least, get plenty of rest.  Lack of sleep can result in your body storing more fat.  Try to get at least 7 to 8 hours of sleep a night for optimal results.
