Check out the elegant and Simple Kitchen Backsplash Remodel Idea! Can you believe the backsplash in this kitchen was all white?! I hated it. I’m very upset that I don’t have a before photo to show you the amazing transformation. The tiles where a gloss small white tile. The kind you find in a bathroom shower at the hotels. Yuck! And… the tiles only when up about 3 high too. I guess I never liked it enough to grab that before photo.
If you are looking for a budget friendly project to give your kitchen a whole new look, try changing up the back splash tiles. I like a natural and neutral look so that’s why I chose this earth color of tile. Instead of just adding tile straight across in the same boring pattern that was there before I decided to add a border. I grabbed some tiles that complemented the color in our granite counter tops.
Here’s a close up of the design right above the oven. We bought just a few decorative tiles and created our very own design to make it stand out from the rest. Be careful when choosing tile. It’s easy to let your budget get out of hand especially when the decorative tiles are so beautiful! This just goes to show you that a little bit can take your design to a whole new level!
