Made with colorful candy melts and festive sprinkles, they’re perfect for summer cookouts, backyard barbecues, Memorial Day, Independence Day, or any patriotic gathering. Kids love helping make these simple treats, and they look beautiful displayed on a dessert table.
If you’re short on time but still want something festive, these patriotic candy stars are an easy way to add a little red, white, and blue to your celebration.

Red, White, and Blue Stars Ingredients:
- Wilton red, white, and blue candy melts
- Red, white, and blue sprinkles
- Plastic star chocolate mold
- Decorating bags

Red, White, and Blue Stars Instructions:
- In three separate microwave-safe bowls, melt 1/2 cup of each color candy melt on 50% power for 3-4 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until melted
- Place a tiny amount of sprinkles in the bottom of the star molds, they will fall to the center.
- Once your chocolate is melted, scoop each color into 3 separate decorating bags and cut a small tip off the ends.
- Use your chocolates filled decorating bags to fill each part of the star with a mix of the three colors.
- Lightly tap your star mold onto the counter to avoid air bubbles and empty spaces.
- Set in the freezer for 5 minutes, pop out and enjoy!
